Simply Freight will be exhibiting at the Henty Machinery Field Days for the first time in 2024.

Founder and director Shane Windebank established an office in Albury in 2022 to service importers and exporters in southern NSW and northern Victoria. 

“We are servicing importers who are sourcing their products or raw materials from overseas or helping local producers and manufacturer’ export their products, safely and efficiently, to their overseas customers” Shane said.

“Located on the major freight corridor, in the nation’s food bowl and at the industrial end of agriculture, there is a lot of economic activity in this region for international freight forwarders like us.”

With 27 years’ experience in international freight and logistics, Shane founded his company 2011 and launched his rebranded business, Simply Freight, in August 2023.

“The name change speaks to the way we want the experience to be felt by our customers, that it was a simple process, handled simply and effectively. While big business is pushing their customers to online platforms for bookings with less and less customer interaction we prefer to have conversations and communicate to better understand what the customer needs are for each and every shipment. The name also speaks to what we do – simply freight. While international freight is our primary business, organically our domestic business is built on specialised, time sensitive or oversized freight, which has been a solid area of growth over the last two years,” he said.

Shane visited the Henty Machinery Field Days for the first time last year and was in awe of the sheer size of the both the event and machinery on site.

“I had no idea how big and busy it was – it was another world with mammoth on-farm machinery and other equipment. Exhibiting this year will help us create that brand awareness for us as a Riverina based international and specialised domestic freight solutions provider, and going forward it is it will become a focal point for our business. 

“While we have traditionally been based in Melbourne, we do handle all types of cargo Australia wide and to and from all over the world. Last year we shipped an entire asphalt plant from Korea to Bairnsdale, working with the customer to streamline the packing and preparation of the components for shipping to minimise costs.
