Quality and reliability in Australian made Commander tube conveyors

The self-propelled Grain Commander tube conveyors combine operator safety, practicality, and efficiency for the ultimate grain handling solution, and is an entry in the Henty Machine of the Year Award.

Launched in January 2024, the self-propelled Grain Commander tube conveyor range features a S-belt drive system, 15-inch crescent belt, collapsible hopper, petrol or diesel motor options, adjustable top spout, hydraulic mover kit and conveyor lift, a low intake height, adjustable belt tension, and an operating angle indicator.

The S-Drive belt drive system ensures there is maximum contact on the main drive roller to reduce belt slipping and maintain capacity. The 15-inch crescent belt runs in a 10-inch barrel, with a capacity of 180-240 THP, depending on the product.

The tube conveyor is 100 per cent Australian made, manufactured in Albany, Western Australia. Australian steel and only the highest quality components are used on these units, offering superior quality and also local service and parts to keep growers moving during those busy times.

Made in-house, the one-piece barrel offers superior longevity and strength, compared to imported conveyors and augers with split barrels and flighting due to transport.

The Grain Commander Conveyor range from 41 foot to 66 foot, with a maximum lift height of 5.54m (41’) and 9.28m (66’). The optional extras include a hydraulic engine slide, stainless-steel componentry, work lights or a Yanmar diesel engine upgrade.

Manufactured by the third-generation Western Australian business Commander Agriculture, the Grain Commander range has evolved over the years, dating back to 1989 manufacturing the first mobile grain augers. The range has grown to include self-propelled grain augers, pencil, mini augers, silos, field bins, and feed out bins.

With a strong focus on reliability, quality and performance, the Commander Agriculture grain handling range is covered by a three-year product structural warranty and lifetime customer support.
