New Trailmax is at the forefront of pit silage operations

The newly launched Trailmax silage and grain trailers, now available in 40-, 50-, and 70-meter capacities, is an entry in the Henty Machine of the Year Award. 

Entered by FarmTech Machinery, these trailers are meticulously crafted at the local AusMix factory in Wodonga, using the highest quality materials.

They are made from 350 grade BlueScope steel making them highly durable and they have a robust bin design with 6mm folded walls. 

The strong chassis is constructed with 16mm and 20mm steel plate, reinforced with 9mm RHS throughout, and all rated at 30 tonnes. 

Heavy duty axles are equipped with 14-tonne, 10-stud axles to ensure long-lasting performance while the grain door is available in either manual or hydraulic operation.

A forward lift function allows for easier loading from the front of the machine, and tandem axles with leaf spring suspension ensure smooth travelling across the paddocks.

There is the option of fitting EBS, ABS and steering control systems, which is a necessity when using public roads.

The wide wheelbase and lower loading heights give the operator far more stability when loading and unloading. 

With a push on bringing manufacturing back to Australia, Trailmax will be on the forefront of pit silage operations in the years to come.
