LM Series optimises boom height and maximises coverage

A new heavy duty three-point linkage sprayer with 12 metre full hydraulic fold boom has been entered by BA Pumps and Sprayers in the Henty Machine of the Year Award. 

The LM Series culminates BA’s 30 years of designing and manufacturing sprayers exclusively for Australia’s and New Zealand’s tough cropping and pastoral conditions. 

The LM Series Sprayer features the innovative 12 metre full hydraulic fold M-Boom. The M-Boom’s exclusive EZI-TILT feature allows the operator to individually adjust the boom wing angle to the terrain, ensuring optimum boom height is maintained for maximum coverage and lowering the risk of spray drift, making ideal for spraying heavily undulated paddocks. 

The EZI-TILT function can lift high enough to easily clear fence lines, contour banks and other obstacles ensuring every corner of the paddock can be sprayed from the comfort and safety of the tractor cab. 

The LM’s unique 1150 Litre tank design integrates the chemical induction and flush tank into one mould giving excellent weight distribution, allowing the farmer to carry more volume without compromising tractor stability.

The LM sets the standard on operator safety and function with its easy to access Hand Wash tank and ergonomic operator fill station with an integrated induction hopper allows for easier and safer chemical loading. 

The built-in flush tank allows the operator to start the decontamination process with the flick of a ball valve, ensuring residual chemical is sprayed out in the paddock and not bought back to the fill point.
