FastFencer Jr lifting efficiency and reducing labour costs
The new FastFencer Jr offers farmers and fencing contractors increased efficiency, productivity and reduced labour costs and project timelines.
The new lighter FastFencer Jr is an entry in the Henty Machine of the Year Award from Quikfence and is giving operators the option to lift and carry one and two rolls of fence netting without any heavy lifting.
Built with only one clamping arm, Jr is lighter and smaller, which makes it ideal for excavators, skid steers, small tractors, and even mini diggers for more nimble movement on the job.
Some farmers like to go in the same direction when fencing, and only need one clamping arm – this machine ticks that box. To avoid any potential problems when the operator may find it favourable to go in the other direction, the FastFencer Jr has a unique pivot allowing the clamping arm across put the clips in.
The FastFence Jr clamping arm with its pivot point, is light and easy to swing to the other side.
Jr runs down the fence line with hydraulic clamps to hold the wire tight, allowing the operator to grab the fence, and pull it tight with the weight of the parent machine. With this done, the operator can tie off the fence line to a post, ad continue down the line.
Once the roll is finished, on a two-roll machine the operator can join the next roll without the need to reload. This saves the farmer time without heavy lifting.
By using Jr, contractors and farmers significantly reduce the physical strain on their workforce and safety on the job.
There are options of one and two roll machines and different heights, to suit a wider range of fencing projects.
