A ride like no other at the field days wins award for Isuzu
A heart thumping climb on the world’s steepest mobile 4WD ramp, team spirit and country music combined to help Isuzu UTE Australia win the Henty Machinery Field Days Exhibitor Award Best Outdoor General Exhibit.
The Iron Summit offers an adrenaline pumping ride like no other where field day visitors experienced the thrill of climbing six metres into the air at a daring 45-degree incline, all from the safety and comfort of an Isuzu D-MAX or MU-X.
Isuzu UTE Australia events coordinator Jazmine Knight said it was the second year for the Iron Summit at Henty and proved to be a significant drawcard to the brand and to look at the vehicles.
“We had a lot of help from our dealers this year giving us the vehicles to put on our stand. It was great to see such a good range of cars to show them off,” Ms Knight said.
“We have had visitors queuing up to ride the Iron Summit and we broke our Henty record from last year of 650 rides.
“It is very much a team effort with our guys encouraging those walking past to come and enjoy the Iron Summit and look at the cars to see what a great product they are.
“The country music helps people feel relaxed and we all love a bit of country music at the agricultural events.”
Ms Knight said Iron Summit had been touring throughout the year to around 10 4x4 shows and field days and was now on to the Ute Muster at Deniliquin.
