Jindabyne artist Lucy Rose is returning to Henty this year with her paintings of the Australian bushman and Snowy River high country.
A professional artist for 13 years, Lucy Rose uses knives in oils on canvas to capture men and women riding through the snowy landscapes on horseback.
Without sketching or layout preparation, she usually begins with the rider’s hat and finishing with the background landscape.
Lucy now offers embellishing in oil’s on her limited edition canvases, with each embellished artwork being unique.
At Henty, Lucy will have some of her latest mountain scape scenery, Highland cattle and her much loved pieces of stockmen.
Her mobile gallery will be located at T961 at the field days.
