The KUHN FBP 3135 Bale Pack – Film Binding is the next generation in silage production.

The FBP 3135 Bale Pack – Film Binding is the latest innovation from leading farm machinery manufacturer KUHN.

Offering new bale and wrap technology for a one-person operation, the machine is an entry in the Henty Machine of the Year Award.

It is the next generation in silage production, with speed, reliability and versatility taking top priority.

Ideal for even the steepest slopes, its patented film-binding system has two 750mm film reels for greater versatility, while also making film roll change much easier.

The binding system pre-stretches film, reducing usage by up to 30 per cent compared to wide mantle film – and it hydraulically holds the film reel into position for quicker loading.

The regular 750mm film reels enable easy change of the film as the spools weigh about 27kg compared to 40kg or more that wide mantle film weighs.

Conventional net binding enhances its versatility with two separate systems enabling quick, simple switching between film and net, for different crops.

Plus a specially adapted bale chamber prevents film damage, guaranteeing binding without compromise.

Loading arms have special smooth rollers to prevent damage during transfer – and during ejection, the last roller disengages to prevent film damage, solving another issue that often compromises bale quality.

Special 3D wrapping technology ensures consistent bale formation, with film applied tightly to create straight, sharp edges for better shape and protection, even during long term storage.

The Intelliwrap operation enables greater wrapping variation, to better suit varying crop conditions and storage periods.

The 230cm wide cam-track pick-up and integral rotor technology guarantees an enormous throughput capacity.

Plus an automatic rotor Deblock system means top of the range intake capacity.

The system also employs an Opticut 14 or Opticut 23 knife cutting system for excellent crop cutting ability.

Operator comfort and maximum control are guaranteed using the new Process View user interface on the Isobus controller.

The user interface conveniently shows the different processes within the machine, where every separate process can be paused and restarted at any time.

Finally, with no real maintenance required, the machine is easy to run.
