Intelligent spraying systems next level in agriculture

The octocopter can carry up to 10kg of liquid payloads.

The DJI Agras MG-1S is an octocopter designed for precision variable rate application of liquid pesticides, fertilisers and herbicides, bringing new levels of efficiency and manageability to the agricultural sector.

The powerful propulsion system enables the MG-1S to carry up to 10kg of liquid payloads.

Sphere Drones, of Sydney, provide drone solutions for commercial applications and have entered the MG-1S in the Henty Machine of the Year Award.

The MG-1S’s combination of speed and power means that an area of 4000-6000 sqm can be covered in just 10 minutes, or 40 to 60 times faster than manual spraying operations.

The intelligent spraying system automatically adjusts its spray according to the flying speed so an even spray is applied.

This way, the amount of pesticide or fertiliser is precisely regulated to avoid pollution and economise operations.

The Agras MG-1S integrates a number of cutting-edge DJI technologies, including the new A3 Flight Controller and a radar sensing system providing additional reliability during flight.

The spraying system and flow sensor ensures accurate operations.

When used with the MG Intelligent Operation Planning System and the DJI Agricultural Management Platform, a user can plan operation, manage flights in real-time and closely monitor aircraft operating status.

The MG-1S is a high performance aircraft capable of offering comprehensive solutions for agricultural care.
