ANZ assisting agribusiness customers and communities

ANZ staff Ben Weber and Andrew Treweeke were on hand at the 2017 field days to speak with existing and potential customers.

A range of industry and commodity insight papers highlighting some of the potential opportunities and challenges ahead for the agricultural sector will be at the ANZ site at Henty.

ANZ is proud to be a principal sponsor of the field days and will showcase some of the region’s food and beverage producers at the site 567 Block N.

The bank is also providing automatic teller machines on the site.

As the recipient of the Canstar Best Agribusiness Bank Award for the third consecutive year in 2018, ANZ continues to look for ways to assist agribusiness customers and their communities.

To support its customers, ANZ has built a dedicated team of more than 1000 agri bankers, many of who live in regional communities alongside their customers.

Through the ANZ Seeds of Renewal program, ANZ has also donated more than $4.5 million to 806 regional community projects in an effort to build vibrant and sustainable rural communities.

Both of these initiatives have included farmers and local community groups from Riverina/Greater Hume.

ANZ looks forward to continuing to help the industry evolve off the back of growing global demand for safe, premium quality food which plays to the natural advantages of Australia’s highly regarded agricultural industry.

Field day visitors are invited to drop by the ANZ site to speak to the team.
