Elsa making ideas become three-dimensional

Elas Meyer will demonstrate her sculpting techniques.

Henty’s Elsa Meyer has been waiting anxiously for a delivery.

For the past few weeks she has been tracking a parcel of modelling clay across America to Australia.

She has been hoping it arrives in time for the Henty Machinery Field Days.

Thanks to sponsorship from Van Aken International, Elsa will now be able to demonstrate her sculpture techniques.
She will be one of the participants on the stage in the Country Lifestyle pavilion and happily using her “special delivery”.

Eleven-year-old Elsa attends the Henty Public School and is a proud member of the Henty Active Arts Group.

Her performance, “The art of Sculptural Form – making ideas become three-dimensional”, at 3.10pm on Tuesday, September 19 and Thursday, September 21.

Elsa has a deep family connection with Country Lifestyle as her great grandmother Joan Meyer started the program more than 40 years ago.
