Flexibility of processing round or square bales

The Highline CFR960 Bale Pro solves the issue of having multiple feed suppliers using different bale types.

The Highline CFR 960 Bale Pro offers the flexibility of processing either square or round bales, and is an entry in the Henty Machine of the Year Award.

One of the challenges of processing square bales is maintaining both a high loading and processing efficiency.

This is because whenever the orientation of the bale is not optimally placed for either loading (large face aligned with tractor) or processing (length aligned with flail), efficiency is compromised.

For optimal processing, the Highline design team addressed this issue by developing a system which turns the square bales so it rests lengthwise in the tub, or in alignment with the flail.

The Bale Pro uses the vertical bale lift design boasting the highest breakout force in the industry.

The vertical lift design allows the operator to release even the most stubbornly frozen bales from the ground with ease.

As the bale is lifted straight up off the ground, the scrubbing action against the bale stack is minimised, reducing bale damage and waste.

The Bale Pro is also equipped with the CleanCut Twine Release System, which uses the weight of the square bale to effectively snap the twine before processing.

Features common to all Bale Pros include feed chopper, metered grain insertion, large diameter flail drum, twin cutting, durable construction, hydraulic door, adjustable axles and axle twine guard, high-flotation tyres, and standard adjustable forks.

The Highline CFR960 Bale Pro has been entered by Beulah Machinery, of Cowra, NSW.
