Marcela Scheuner will perform a dazzling circus routine at Henty.

Henty’s homegrown circus star Marcela Scheuner is back to dazzle field day visitors with her hoop and juggling routine at the Farm Gate stage.

Marcela Scheuner, 20, grew up in Henty, regularly attended the field days as a child and now regards it as an honour to perform at the event.

She graduated from the Flying Fruit Fly Circus in 2013 after 10 years of training and eight years performing, and is now a regular trainer at the circus.

Marcela, of Albury, has travelled to Jabiru, in the Northern Territory, twice last year to teach circus to indigenous children and has completed a three week creative development with Melbourne’s Circus Oz.

Marcela hopes to continue travelling around the world performing in various genres of circus.

She will be appearing on Tuesday at 9.45am and 2.30pm, on Wednesday and Thursday at 9.45am and 3pm.
