Almost 30 exhibitors filled the giant marquee and outdoor food court, making it a highlight of the field days.

September 17, 2013 Talented singer Jess Gay has shown her star appeal by taking out Voices@Henty. Jess, 18, battled inclement weather and power interruptions to wow the judges with her original song, “Bats.”
September 18, 2013 The gulf between harvesting technology of 1963 and 2013 was a focal point of the Henty Machinery Field Days today. A 50-year-old PTO Massey Ferguson 585 was parked in the shadow of its modern cousin, a giant Massey Ferguson 9540.
September 24, 2013 One of the most surprising highlights of Henty’s 50th anniversary Machinery Field Days was the emergence of social media as a force to be reckoned with. Henty’s own Facebook page skyrocketed from an average weekly reach of around 3000 in the weeks leading up to the field days, to peak at more than 92,000 people by field day conclusion.
September 19, 2013 Knitted patterns symbolising Irish family life were used by southern NSW designer Pam Stolhand to capture the judge’s attention in the Henty Natural Fibre Fashion Awards. Pam hand knitted and assembled a racy cocktail mini with matching leggings and headwear in natural wool from The Wool Room in her home town of Young.
September 12, 2013 With more than 1200 sites sold and 800 exhibitors booked, Australia’s premier mixed farming field days at Henty are set to break all records. The 89ha grounds are filled to capacity with the September 17-19 50th anniversary event expected to draw a crowd of 60,000 visitors keen to inspect more than $100 million worth of machinery on-site.
September 3, 2013 Competition is expected to be intense at Henty this year as the nation’s best sheep dogs and their handlers gather for the Pedigree Sheep and Yard Dog Trials. Run under the auspices of the NSW Sheepdog Workers Incorporated, the sheep field trial is set to attract more than 100 dogs and their workers from around Australia.

Visitors will have the opportunity to learn, taste, touch, smell and experience the region’s finest food and wine first hand at Henty’s Farm Gate Produce Market pavilion.
